Challenges of Cross Organisation Processes

A new white paper from Bob Downes explores some of the challenges of cross organisation processes in the Public Sector and specifically Local Government. With more spending cuts to be found over the coming years it seems prudent to begin looking for deeper savings that can be made now.

Some parts of the Public Sector have undertaken or are executing change programs that are designed to deliver major cost savings through initiatives such as business process automation. Such programs have examined services provided holistically; reviewing the tasks which involve people, the processes that are followed and any information required to ensure effective service delivery.

While Councils have substantial freedom to continue delivering services as they have always done, many are still heavily reliant on processing paper with the resultant overheads of time and cost as well as compliance with legislative requirements.

Bob will be publishing more white papers in the coming weeks

Menntor Now Available From CloudStore

Menntor is now available to UK Public Sector organisations from the CloudStore.

CloudStore
G-Cloud is a UK Government initiative to encourage the adoption of Cloud Services across the whole of the
Public Sector. Its aims are to simplify how the Public Sector buys and delivers services by creating a marketplace of pay-as-you-go commodity services that can be easily scaled up or down, based on the changing needs of a business and its users. CloudStore is the catalogue system that buyers can use to search for and access solutions.

Menntor products can now be purchased, or free trailed, by customers in the Public Sector directly through the CloudStore, saving time and money in establishing quality web app solutions for their business processes.
